Crystal Cove State Park: Moro Ridge Route

The very last stretch of open coastal land in Orange County's San Joaquin Hills is a part of Crystal Cove State Park. The area consists of a series of lush valleys and rolling hills high above the Pacific between Laguna Beach and Corono Del Mar. Year after year, the surrounding areas are transformed piecemeal into suburbia. However, Crystal Cove State Park has saved several priceless coastal areas for public use. Among them is a 3000-acre paradise called Moro Canyon. In the stillness of the coastal canyons and the shade of the tall trees you can imagine what this land was like not so long ago.
