Poorman Cruise - Boulder Colorado Road Bike Rides

Climbing a large portion of Sunshine Canyon before descending sharply on the dirtsurfaced Poorman Road, this is a short ride with some real bite and an elevation gain of about 1,000 feet. Terrain: The salient features of this loop include a legitimately tough climb up Sunshine Canyon, then a steep descent on dirt Poorman Road. Traffic and hazards: Poorman Road is a generally well-maintained dirt surface, but it is quite steep. Sunshine invites motorists to speed dangerously. The final leg is on the Boulder Creek multiuse path in Boulder Canyon, which demands your rapt attention.
