Green Mountain Climb

OutAndBack • 8.4 mi • 1636 ft

Green Mountain promises mountain bikers what is arguably the hardest climb in New Hampshire to clean. Its steep pitch and loose trail surface demand both power and bike handling skills. A few miles of rural, unpaved road give ample warm-up before things really tilt to the sky. Once you dispatch the ascent, and perhaps lunch, you can climb the fire watchtower to really feel on top of the world. Trail Surface: Rural gravel road, abandoned road, doubletrack, and fire watchtower access.
