Ridley Creek State Park

Loop • 5 mi • 245 ft

This is a great ride for all ability levels. Beginners will appreciate that the park is closed to motor vehicles and consists of paved roads and asphalt paths. Parents will be glad to see that there are a number of spots to stop and take a break with the kids. More advanced riders will probably benefit most from doing multiple loops. The expert riders have an opportunity to really push the big chain ring and get a great workout. For the majority of riders the tranquil setting along Ridley Creek is more than enough reason to visit. The only thing that bothers me is that bikes are not allowed on the parks numerous dirt trails. With 2,607 acres in Ridley Creek State Park, that's a lot of park that you're missing. Terrain: Paved road and asphalt-paved trail.
