Bruno's Run

Reminding you of why Michigan is called “Water Wonderland,” Bruno’s Run offers endless inland lake views. Bouncing over exposed roots, the trail dumps you out at Pete’s Lake Campground. During lazy summer afternoons, kayakers and small sailboats drift on Pete’s Lake, and the delighted screams of playing children follow cyclists back into the forest. The trail continues on a roller-coaster ride through dense trees and crosses over forest roads, the Indian River, and the McKeever Cross County Trail System. Roots offer challenges throughout the ride, but the most difficult sections come at the end with a series of switchback climbs and two challenging downhills. Tread: 10.1 miles of singletrack.
