This trail is like a B horror movie: plenty of monstrous obstacles with imaginative names like Kentaro’s Monster and Dragon’s Back. The trail offers every imaginable apparatus from laddered climbs and rock piles to twists and turns. Fortunately, the most difficult apparatuses always have a bypass. Developed by local Michigan Mountain Biking Association members, the trail is marked with mountain bike signs and yellow tape, and each section of obstacles is named, such as Treehugger’s Log. At times, however, the trail becomes so fast that it is easy to miss an obstacle and blindly cruise by an apparatus on a bypass. The obstacles mentioned below are only a taste of what you will find, so stay alert. Tread: 5.7 miles of singletrack, 0.2 mile of doubletrack.

This a great trail both for the new biker and old. I broke 3 ribs last year on a downhill which was still fun. The trail gets hard after you cross the main road leading into the park.
