Prairie Creek Reservoir - Muncie Indiana Mountain Bike Trails

Motorcycles and ATVs have long used this trail system. The result is a honeycomb of paths bent on criss-crossing each other. The good news is that Muncie-area mountain bikers have trails near town. The bad news is that motorbikes still dominate these trails, so take caution. The rough terrain hones technical skills and definitely enhances bike handling skills. The flatlander system, though, harbors no climbs, instead offering a multitude of short, steep pitches that prove difficult to master. Trail surface is singletrack and doubletrack.
