Lake Robertson - Lexington Virginia Mountain Bike Trails

This ride's general location is 14 miles west of Lexington. Scenery includes wooded setting surrounding a 31-acre lake at the foot of North Mountain. This beautiful spot at the base of North Mountain west of Lexington is truly an undiscovered gem in western Virginia. You should look at this recreational complex as a system of trails (all less than 2 miles in length) from which to develop your own particular route. The trails range from single-track to woods roads and a combination thereof, running uphill away from the 31-acre lake. Given the range of outdoor activities, the short length of the trails, and the ease of riding, this is an excellent destination for families and less experienced mountain bikers.
