This trail is in southeastern prince Edward Island, off Highway 2. This ride is an easy 11.7-mile loop that follows the relatively wide, graded surfaces of both the Confederation Trail and the New Harmony Heritage Road. You will trace the route of the old Prince Edward Island railway and then ride over rolling hills on the Heritage road, as you experience the landscape that was first cultivated by early settlers in this region. The recent development of the Confederation Trail and the continued maintenance of this heritage road in its original state have ensured preservation of different aspects of the island's history.
