One of the premier hikes in the North Bay, this out-andback trip over rolling terrain uses the Tomales Point Trail to reach Tomales Bluff, the northwest tip of Tomales Point. Starting from historic Pierce Point Ranch, the trail takes you through a tule-elk preserve, where these magnificent creatures are sometimes seen at close range. Exposed to the wind, this hike is best on a warm day.
