Asilomar State Beach and Coast Trail - Monterey California Hikes

Asilomar (meaning “refuge by the sea”) State Beach encompasses 107 acres at the windswept, southwest corner of Pacific Grove. The state park has an exposed rocky headland with spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean, tidepools, dunes, cove beaches, a wind-sculpted Monterey pine and cypress forest, sheltered overlooks and boardwalk paths. The park includes the Asilomar Conference Grounds, a national historic landmark.
