Portola Point - Los Osos California Hikes

Portola Hill is a 329-foot rounded volcanic hill on the east side of Morro Bay State Park. A spur trail leads up to Portola Point, offering sweeping views of the surrounding morros and the Morro Bay area, one of the most vital and productive bird habitats in the country. The hike follows the Quarry and Live Oak Trails across rolling native grassland, looping around the base of Portola Hill.
