Sven Folding Saw - 21"

I wanted the 15" version, but it was out of stock, so I got the 21" and I'm not disappointed. Previously, I used a small 9" folding saw, but that proved highly inefficient on larger pieces of wood. On my last camping trip, I used the Sven to cut a section off a fallen tree (8" diameter), dragged it back to camp, then cut the limb into smaller sections and used my hatchet to split it. I had plenty of long-buring firewood. The combination of saw and hatchet makes a great pairing.

I have tried all the saws and have even made some of my own but none of these work like this saw. It is everything you want in a saw, lightweight, easy to pack, and eats through wood like no other!Don't waste your money on any other saw!

Used this saw on eleven day camping vacation in Sierra Nevada Mountains at nine different campsites. Saw was very packable, light, and easy to assemble. The blade is very sharp and would quickly and easily cut through wood six and half inches in diameter. Also used saw around house to cut limbs for firewood.

Lightweight. Easy to put together. Makes gathering wood a breeze. Leave the axe at home.

This is a great saw. Just finish a section of the AT around McAffe's Knob and this saw was perfect in making firewood for a nice fire. The saw cuts quick, clean, and easily. It is very compact and durable. I could write more but only trying for yourself is the only was to see it greatness.

First I use this on kayak camping trips so within the kayak space is limited. I can't imagine a better saw for both performance and packable. If I were backpacking the 15 inch would be my pick. If you know how to saw wood then this saw eats woods. Remember the saw dose the work not you attempting to force the saw it through the wood; just let it work.
