The paddle is actually a bit heavy. The blade is very flexible and is not suited for any but the best conditions. I have had a couple of people using this when things got a bit dicey and had to give them the stiffer paddle I was using.

Easy to maneuver
The ergo palm shaped handle ensures the SUP paddle blade is always in the correct position without having to look down. I use a 82" length paddle to maneuver a 11' Surftech Laird/Arrow board in flatwater and ocean swells with ease and speed without becoming fatigued. I recommend applying a paddle guard kit to the paddle blade edge to protect your legs/feet and SUP rails from cuts, nicks and scrapes.
