The body-fitting NTS Microweight Zip-T for men is great for warm or cool weather activities. Wear it alone or as a base layer. Jersey-knit, fine merino wool helps maintain a comfortable temperature whether the day is hot, cold or in between. 10 in. front zipper controls ventilation. SmartWool items are guaranteed not to itch and can be repeatedly washed and dried without shrinking. Chafe-free flatlock side seams increase comfort. Easy care: machine wash and dry on cool temperature setting.

It is a wool quarterzip baselayer, and works well as such.Too thin and formless to wear as a casual outer layer, although I like the midweight variant for that.
