The SmartWool Midweight Boot Top long underwear bottoms offer natural stretch and breathability for stop-and-go activities or when temperatures fluctuate. Made of 100% super-fine merino wool, the SmartWool Midweight Boot Top wool long underwear bottoms help maintain your comfort whether the climate is warm, cold or in-between. Bottoms have a traditional fly design, as well as a covered elastic waistband to prevent chafing. Flat-lock side-seam construction also prevents chafing. SmartWool® is guaranteed not to itch and can be repeatedly laundered without shrinking. Easy care: machine wash and dry on cool temperature setting.

Very nice as 2nd layer

I love the boot height feature. Ski with these as2nd layer over Giordini long underwear and REI shell pants.Very comfortable and thus far no issues with laundering and drying with the rest of my ski clothes.

Love them but they shrunk too much.

I loved these things till they shrunk! I have to give them to my wife now! I payed careful attention to the washing instructions but they kept getting shorter and tighter. They have an amazing ability to keep in the warmth when it's cold, and then become breathable as the day heats up. I'm so sad that they shrunk!
