At first I mainly used this product for running, but now use it for nearly all cold weather physical activity. If there is light precipitation or bright sun, I'll slip it over my DWR-treated ball cap. It keeps my head and ears warm without overheating like a beanie would.I have the neck gaiter made of the same material as well, at it has lasted through years of extended hard use, machine washing, and even some dog-chewing. The wool repels odor, and stays comfortable.

Great for Cold Weather Activities
I purchased this headband for running during cold weather. I wanted something to keep my ears warm while not making my head too hot as my wool cap was doing.This headband performs much better than I could have expected.
