Sierra Designs Microlight Pants - Men's Short

The Microlight short-length pants from Sierra Designs provide wind protection and water resistance on or off the trail. They also provide packable protection for the unexpected downpour. Polyester taffeta fabric with a polyurethane coating offers ample water resistance and wind-blocking protection at a great value. Waistband with elastic panels and drawcord personalize fit. Gusseted crotch facilitates freedom of movement for increased comfort. Seams are not sealed, but the pants offer water resistance in light rain for a short period of time. Microlight pants pack into a self-fabric stuff sack.

Basic rain protection

Inexpensive, lightweight rain pants. No zippers, but elastic cuffs were stretchy enough to slip on over boots when my AMC group got caught in a rain/hail storm in the White Mountains. Got them 1 size larger than I normally wear and that worked just fine. Pretty basic product, but did their job of keeping me dry, although they don't breath much at all, so took them off once we started hiking again.
