Lightweight and easy to pack, the wind- and waterproof Sierra Designs women's Hurricane rain jacket keeps you dry in sudden rain showers around town or in the backcountry. Ripstop nylon features a solvent-free, waterproof breathable coating; polyurethane finish reduces interior condensation. Full, PVC-free seam taping ensures complete protection. Double stormflaps surround full-length front zipper; underarm zippers allow airflow as you warm up. Helmet-compatible hood. Drawcord hem and adjustable cuffs seal out the elements. Sierra Designs Hurricane jacket includes a stuff sack for packing. Closeout.

Great for the rain forest!

I purchased this jacket for my 10 day adventure in Costa Rica. I was going during the rainy season, so I definitely wanted a good, water-proof jacket. I like that the jacket was easy to pack with its own bag. I used the jacket on several rainy events and hikes and it did quite well: kept the water out, light enough to carry when it wasn't raining.

Great buy

Very light weight. Enough room for me to wear a light fleece underneath or a sweater when it's cold. Will not keep you warm if you wear it over a t-shirt and it's cold outside. I like that it rolls up into a convenient pouch.
