Excellent for the price
I have to say that this shell is a great summer option. It packs down very small, is lightweight, though it doesn't breathe- it has pit zippers, and thus far has kept me dry in light to moderate rains. I, also, use this as a backup warm layer now that it's starting to get chilly. For the price, I feel that it's a steal (i.e. don't expect it to perform like a GoreTex jacket that cost $200+, don't get me wrong, this is NOT that jacket). However, I bought it when I forgot my expensive shell this summer and I have done everything from alpine climbing (only moderate chimney-ing)to backpacking and I am impressed. Thus far, unlike the other review, I have had no peeling of the inside layer and have stayed dry.

Don't buy
This jacket is horrible. The zip stop broke the very first time I wore it, and it has the feel and texture of a garbage bag. I returned the jacket [...]. Get higher quality products.
