Lightweight and don't leak
I bought these pants mainly for wearing around the city, and for that they are perfect. I've only used them a few times, but they've never leaked at all. The material is quite thin though, so I wouldn't expect them to stand up to rigorous backcountry use.

Not so great...
I recently went on a two week long expedition to the Chugach mountain range in southern Alaska. Anticipating wet weather and lots of sitting in the snow, I purchased these pants.On the first day that I wore them, I sat on the ground and immediately ripped the pants on a rock. I shifted my position and they tore again, right at the seat. For the remainder of the expedition I was forced to wear the pants backwards to allow me to sit down without getting soaked.While the material blocked moisture excellently and the pants were extremely lightweight, it is impossible for me to rate this product highly simply because of the flimsiness of the material.
