Sherpani Via Packable Daypack - Women's

The Sherpani Via, exclusive to REI, is a packable daypack that can also be carried as a tote. It packs down into itself for easy, compact storage. When unpacked, the daypack features a zippered main compartment that fits a change of clothes or a day's essentials. External zip pocket stows items for easy on-the-go access; small internal zip pocket doubles as the storage pouch when daypack is packed up. 2 stretch side pockets keep water bottles within easy reach (bottles sold separately). Webbing tote handles and adjustable pack straps provide easy carrying options. Constructed of lightweight and packable ripstop nylon. Packed dimensions: 6.5 x 5.75 x 2.5 in.

I will take this bag on every trip!

Just returned from two weeks in Italy where I used this bag every day. It was great in the crowded cities where I used it as a shoulder bag (to keep away from pickpockets). In the countryside it was a perfect backpack to wear cycling between villages and hiking on the cliff-sides. No matter how many souvenirs or groceries I put in - it held them all and was comfortable. When it was time to fly home, I checked my original bag and used this as my carry on. I've seen lots of packable bags, but few have a top zipper on them like this one. This bag is a standout in my opinion for its sturdiness, practical design, good comfort, and small size when packed. Sherpani has thought of it all. This would be a great gift for any frequent traveler.
