Get Seirus about your boots.
I've been using these for years. My wife and I have expensive custom-fit boots (they really up your level). Have been using Cattrax for years to max their life. They add a remarkable sense of stability and a little nice bit of "cushion" to your stride. Like walking from Vail garage to the gondola, Copper parking lot, Breck gondola to the house, about a mile (that's a lot of wear on hard plastic!), much improved!! They fold up compactly to stash in my camelback or pockets (use a ziplock to store!) It takes a while to get the knack of putting them on. Do it with boots on, cross your leg over the opposite thigh, toe then heel. Take the time, don't be lazy and keep your boots happy and safe. And they'll return the favor.

Good to protect boots, prevent slips
I've had these for several years and they're very useful for long walks from the parking lot to the lifts. Worth protecting your boot soles and preventing those embarrassing injuries that happen from slipping and falling BEFORE you even get on the slopes.
