Definitely not for a serious float
Bought these to use in the Des Plaines River Marathon which is 19+ miles of paddling. After mile 12 blisters began to form. They were great for the first few miles. As the product wording states correctly which I missed they are for "light coverage" so if you are going to do some serious paddling I would not recommend these.

Great Gloves
I have not used these gloves for their intended purpose, yet. I have been using them for kettlebell training, they have been great so far (about a month). They are very lightweight and they thin leather at the finger cut-off makes for a good transition. I do plan to use them for double duty this summer as a paddling glove.

Not worth it
I bought these and a pair of full finger NRS gloves at the same time. These Sea to Summit gloves rub my thumb and first finger at the seams. And in hind sight were probably not the best purchase for 15-20mile/day trips that I do in my kayak.
