Scott Cascade Ovalized Ski Poles

The Scott Cascade Ovalized ski poles are designed to handle fast, aggressive skiing. Oval-shaped shaft is built with S4 Aluminum—the strongest commercially available, aircraft-grade aluminum alloy. Oval shape increases aerodynamic performance and structural rigidity while maintaining excellent shock-absorption properties. Grip is anatomically engineered to give you full, comfortable contact with the grip surface; soft thermoplastic rubber enhances sensitivity. Strong nylon strap maintains wrist in perfect position and adjusts easily. 2.36 in. disc basket blends aerodynamic efficiency and durability; ideal for packed snow conditions. Scott Cascade Ovalized ski poles include an Ice Tip for superb hold in icy conditions.

Top Gun Grips.

Good Poles. Not as good as my old Series 4 with the best Grips Ever! Scott seems to be the only pole manufacturer that mounts the straps sideways in the grip. I can't stand the horizontally stacked straps found on most every other brand of poles, including nearly every backcountry adjustable poles under the sun. Thankfully Scott finally started making some BC poles this year! Just can't find them anywhere. These poles are bomber, but I'm not sold on the grips. Too small at the bottom, they look like a Jet Fighter joystick. Guess you should go down and see how they feel with yer chosen ski gloves on.
