Lightweight and highly breathable, the nylon mesh uppers feature synthetic leather overlays for structure and durability. Nylon linings breathe well, wick moisture and dry quickly to keep your feet cool and comfortable. Gusseted tongues keep trail debris out; uppers are also compatible with gaiters (sold separately) for increased protection. 4mm heel-to-toe drop encourages a shorter, lower impact stride than traditional running shoes do. EVA midsoles are lightweight and durable, and maximize rebound; strobel boards increase cushioning and step-in comfort. Thermoplastic urethane plates provide torsional rigidity and protect feet from rocks. Saucony ProGrid Xodus 3.0 trail-running shoes have Vibram® rubber outsoles with multidirectional lugs, providing aggressive traction for tackling trails.
