good fit and warmth - questionable build
I ski about 100 hours a year - mostly off track. First pair parted at seam on one boot - replaced under warranty. Replacements holding up well. Great fit and comfort- I have wide feet. Keep feet warm and dry. Good ankle support. Not heavy in weight. Easy to walk in also. Deep tread pattern for gripping. Easy to adjust with the cable/string pull thingy. Boot soles are wide, if you ski deep frozen tracks they will scrape sides. Very good ankle support. I have two pairs of skis with the X-ADV/ SNS bindings so I am kind of locked into Salomon for boots. Great downhill control when paired with metal edged skis.
