Salomon XR Mission CS Trail-Running Shoes - Women's

Built for training runs on trails or the occasional pavement, the women's Salomon XR Mission CS trail-running shoes feature ClimaShield™ forefoot membranes for breathable weather protection. Breathable, abrasion-resistant nylon mesh uppers feature synthetic leather overlays that wrap insteps for lateral stability. ClimaShield™ waterproof, breathable membranes over the forefoot area keep mud and rain off your toes, without sacrificing breathability through the rest of the shoe. Quicklace™ lacing system with friction-free eyelets takes just a single pull for a perfect fit; lace pocket hides lacing away. Protective toe caps guard against bumps and abrasion. Foam insoles enhance comfort. Polyester mesh linings wick moisture away from feet for dry comfort. EVA midsoles protect against trail impacts, and thermoplastic urethane inserts provide a barrier against sharp rocks underfoot. OS Tendon thermoplastic urethane frames run along the outsoles of the shoes to facilitate better heel-to-toe transitions and push-off efficiency. Contagrip® rubber outsoles provide tenacious grip. Salomon XR Mission CS trail-running shoes have reflective detailing to increase visibility in low light. Fit tip: per Salomon, size down 1/2 size.

Another Great Salomon

I loved this running shoe so much that I bought a second identical pair to have on hand for when the first pair wears out. I run daily and have had various foot aches and pains from time to time - but all BEFORE I found these shoes! Since wearing the Salomons my foot troubles have disappeared and my runs are heavenly. I looooove these shoes. I should say that I have a wide foot, so they may not be as good a fit for narrow footed folks. Also, the shoes are apparently made for running, not walking, because my long walks in

These are amazing shoes!

I wear these shoes when I do Kettlebell, but when I wear them to run in they are the bomb-diggety! They are very comfy and provide ample support and cushioning when running on hard surfaces. I feel like I can run longer and faster and may even jump higher! When hiking, they are so comfortable that my feet don't begin to tire on the trails. I just love them.
