Salomon Icon RE Snow Helmet - Women's - 2011/2012

The Salomon Icon RE snow helmet brings you a sporty look that goes best with fluffy flakes and days at the mountain with friends. In-mold shell construction yields a lightweight helmet you can wear comfortably all day long. Active ventilation system promotes airflow to keep you cool; vents can be shut to conserve heat with an easy-to-use switch on top of helmet. Women-specific liner is designed to comfortably accommodate long hair; liner and shell shaping accept ponytails. Removable earpads with soft faux fur; remove pads to regulate temperature. Adjustable chin strap with faux fur lining won't cause irritation. Stretch goggle keeper holds your goggles in place. The Salomon Icon RE snow helmet complies with ASTM F 2040 and/or CE EN 1077 alpine ski and snowboard helmet safety standards.

Awesome helmet! Great comfort and fit!

This helmet is a big improvement on the older bowling-ball-esque helmets from yester year. The big selling point for me is that the soft ear coverings are warm, protective, and yet not occlusive so that I may wear my bilateral behind-the-ear hearing aids without getting feedback. I am very impressed with this product and will recommend it to friends.

Great helmet

This helmet is great, to me helmets are pretty basic though. Provides protection for downhill skiing; it's lightweight and keeps your head and ears warm even on really cold and windy days (I didn't need to wear any hat underneath).
