So yeah... We love it.
We LOVE this pack for our pup. He is a 32lb high energy rescue terrier that was in need of some great outdoor exercise. We started hiking daily for about 2 weeks when we decided to look into a pack for him.We paired this with the bungee cord hands free leash. He tends to get excited and can pull hard at the beginning of our walks, so I was a little worried when I saw there was not a metal ring to hook the leash to. Once we received the pack and got to see the loop for ourselves, we saw it was pretty sturdy. I would be worried if I had a bigger, stronger dog that might pull or get excited. So yeah, the water bladders are awesome, the pack is light and sturdy and fits our pup just right. Just a little balancing tip: When stopping to give your pup water, use an equal amount of water from each bladder to keep his pack balanced :)

my dog's favorite pack
My dog prefers this to his palisades pack, and it's a bonus that it matches his fur so well. Fits water, dog treats, and poop bags. Snug to the body and light.

Ruff Stuff
Pretty much perfect for what my pup needs. He's ~30lbs so he shouldn't be carrying to much. When hiking around in the grand canyon we all need lots of water. This pack carries 1L of water, poop bags, treats and a collapsable water bowl. I only wish the pockets were a teensy bit bigger to put a tupperwear in to carry his poo poo. Leave no trace!
