Great Coat
I haven't gotten much time to use the coat, but I thought I would comment about the size listed on REI's website as well as conflicts on the tags while I'm thinking about it. I ordered the medium for my year old boxer since her chest measures 26" and the small was listed on the website with 22-27" and the medium was 27-32". Since she was very close and still slightly growing, I figured the medium wouldn't be much of a stretch. However, when it arrived, the length down her back was way too long. It went over her tail by a few inches (given, her tail is about three inches long, but still). However, the tag showed different sizes than listed on REI's website (which, after ordering the small, matches the sizes listed on the small). The sizes on the medium were listed as follows: XXS: 12-19"XS: 17-24"S: 23-30"M: 27-32"L: 31-40"XL: 35-48". I believe these sizes are more accurate and would've helped me choose the small instead of the medium the first time around. The small is perfect! Wasn't too impressed
I am a big fan of Ruff Wear and own a lot of their products. For the first time, I have to admit that I was disappointed with this product. I just came back from Prescott, AZ from a camping trip. This coat did not keep my dog, Elvis, warm. It was 46 degrees and he was literally shaking he was so cold. :( I would try another coat if you plan on going to a location where it's around the same temp. It is a very nice coat. The material is high quality (I wouldn't expect less from Ruff Wear). It's a great coat for a quick walk or around the house.

No complaints!
My dog loves this jacket! As soon as he sees me break it out of his RuffWear pack, he gets excited and tries to stick his head in before I am ready for him to do so. It is fairly water resistant and keeps my little buddy warm.
