Perfect basic ski boots for boys & girls
The previous reviewer missed all of the beauty in these kids ski boots -- and the exact reason they are perfect for small children: you adjust once and forget. After that, the buckle goes open, boot goes on, buckle goes shut. No adjusting, just a boot on your child's foot.We used these boots last year for both my son (age 2) and daughter (age 4). They skied 40+ days throughout the season, and these boots were always a joy to put on & off. This year, my daughter switched to a three-buckle system, and the buckling process is much more difficult. They aren't a competition boot, they're for kids. And they are great for what they are. Highly, highly recommended.

Much better choices available
The string-type adjusments on these buckles are frustration incarnate. They're near-impossible to get sized right when sitting in the warm hotel room. You will be teaching your kids all kinds of new non-skiing words if you try and adjust these boots on the slopes! Nordica SuperN01s are a much better choice at the tiny end (single buckle) of the size scale. Salomon and Nordica both have many better choices at the merely small end (two buckle) of the sizing scale.
