Description

Rocky Mounts PitchFork Bike Mount

The PitchFork bike mount from Rocky Mounts has a sleek, low profile and fits on Thule square bars and Yakima round bars without a special fit kit! 45 in. long tray accommodates long wheelbases found on 29'ers and full-suspension bikes; works with the skinniest of road tires and mountain bike tires up to 2.7 in. wide. Long-throw, quick-release design with 12mm of closure is lockable and easy to use; back tire attachs with easy-to-use nylon ratchet strap. Durable stainless-steel, low-profile head and full-length tubular aluminum wheel tray provide years of hassle-free use. Fits bikes with or without disc brakes. Can be locked with Rocky Mounts lock cores, sold separately. Please note: Rocky Mounts PitchFork is not compatible with Thule Aero bars.

i've now purchased two of these. well designed, very easy to install and use, keeps bike stable, works with mountain bikes/road bikes and the price is right.

Streamline Design

This is my second one. Love the price. Love the choice of colors. Its a nice streamline design while you are not hauling your bike around. The only downfall is the removal of the front tire.
