For short backpacking trips that require lighter loads, the Lightpath 3 tent has the Superlight option in which it can be pitched with the fly and footprint only. This option will shed around 2 lbs. and still keep you dry in rainstorms.

Because of the Lightpath 3 tent's durable and lightweight design, Mountain Hardwear cut back on some convenient perks that other competitors offer. The Lightpath 3 has only one door and one vestibule, causing inconvenience for multiple occupants.
