Frabill ice shelters are designed to be user-friendly, with easy assembly and takedown, low overall weight, and are small enough when stored to fit in the back of an SUV or truck. The shelters come with doors and windows, so it won't get too crammed even when three adults are inside.
Sacrifices
Due to their lightweight and inexpensive design, most Frabill models will not keep you as warm in freezing temperatures as shelters made by other manufacturers. Also, Frabill cold weather models, although rated for extreme conditions, do not perform well in heavy winds, when the sides of the shelter tend to bow inward.

Frabill makes quality user-friendly ice shelters at an affordable price and offer enough models to satisfy the needs of most recreational ice fishermen. They are, however, not recommended in areas with heavy winds.
