Temple Fork Fly Rod Review

Temple Fork Fly Rod Review
Temple Fork manufactures economy fly rods that are designed to perform without a high price tag. With some design advice from the famous casting expert Lefty Kreh, Temple Fork has produced several high-performance rods. Temple Fork rods are competitive in the economy rod market, with rods to cover most flyfishing situations. Temple Fork rods are purchased with a "no-fault" lifetime warranty, and the broken rods are returned in one business day after repair or replacement.

Perks

Temple Fork rods are affordable and they perform well. They have oversized guides for shooting line, and the blanks are constructed to cover a variety of fishing situations. All of the rods come with alignment dots and a lifetime warranty. The customer service is great and the return time on warranty work is exceptional.

Sacrifices

Temple Fork Rods are constructed overseas and finished in the United States. Although they perform well, they do not have the casting power of higher-priced rods. They outperform most economy rods, and are great for beginner and intermediate anglers, but most experts desire a higher quality rod.

Bottom Line

Temple Fork offers a great series of economy rods that will satisfy a moderate budget. The rods perform well but do not handle difficult casting situations as well as many higher-priced rods. I would recommend Temple Fork Rods to those looking for a solid rod that is moderately priced.
