Perks
Due to their design for hunting, Browning developed a locking diopter, which allows the user to zero in on objects without worrying about readjusting the focus. They also have three eye-cup positions that come in handy for anyone wearing glasses.
Sacrifices
Their indestructible design means the 8x32 binoculars are heavy compared to competitors' 32 mm binoculars such as Nikon and Bushnell. Also the lens caps don't fit tightly and fall off easily.
Bottom Line
For $180 (in 2009) the Browning 8x32 binoculars are great for any outdoor enthusiast who needs a compact binocular that can take a beating.
