Perks
The tent is roomy. Particularly with the adjustable interior walls, it can be configured to be grand sleeping quarters for three or four, or used to comfortably house a family with several small children. The rain fly can be set up by itself with the support poles as a stand-alone shelter. The roof is mesh, which allows for good ventilation, even with the rain fly in place.
Sacrifices
The tent's primary drawback is, of course, the weight. The stuff sack for the tent is actually wheeled due to the almost 50 lb. weight of the tent, so it is clearly inappropriate for backcountry camping or hiking. The tent is complex and not quickly set up.
Bottom Line
This is a roomy tent with a reasonable price tag. However, in heavy rains and wind, the rain fly is less effective, so the tent is really only recommended for warm spring and summer. If you want a large cabin tent, this is a decent choice.
