Perks
The two biggest benefits of this tent are size and cost. Generally available for less than $100, this large tent is a bargain at the price and sleeps six quite comfortably, with a reasonable size-to-weight ratio. The tent is easy to set up, and the "bathtub" floor with taped seams means you won't need a tarp or ground cloth for the tent.
Sacrifices
The open design of the rain fly counts against the tent in heavy weather, particularly in wind. It is a good tent for dry and fair weather conditions, but unfortunately the waterproofing is unreliable, meaning it is a not a good tent for rainy weather camping.
Bottom Line
Cheap, convenient and easy to use, this roomy tent is a good choice for summer car campers and for weekend use in campsites. Its weather issues, even with its relatively light weight, make it not recommended for backcountry camping or any harsh weather conditions.
