REI Ultra Light Pants - Men's 32" Inseam

The REI Ultra Light pants are not only ultra light, they're ultra useful as well. Whether on your feet or on your bike, you'll be ready for unexpected squalls. This season's Ultra Lights are made from a new fabric that makes them softer, quieter and more resistant to abrasion; 2-way stretch adds to overall comfort. Lightweight Elements® 2.5-layer nylon taffeta is waterproof, breathable and windproof to 60 mph; seams are sealed for complete protection. Elastic drawcord waist. Articulated knees allow comfortable range of motion with no tugging. Lower legs have zipper openings for easy on/off; seam-sealed plackets with snap closures protect zippers. Front hand pockets feature bonded flaps for protection from moisture. Comes with a stuff sack.

Great Impromptu Snow Pants!

I bought these for a backpacking trip, and now keep them in the truck, just in case. They stow away in a stuff sack about the size of a soda can.Today I pulled them over my jeans to take my kids out sledding - they worked perfectly!

Waterproof! Competes Easily With Marmot!

Have used this out in pouring rain, and so far so good. Lightweight, but never feels clammy. As good or better, in my mind, than the Marmot Precip rain pants. I also like having front pockets. A good choice at this price point and if you're not going to spring for the expensive GoreTex options.
