REI Spring Gloves

The REI Spring gloves shed moisture to keep your hands warm and dry during active trips in cool weather. REI Elements® waterproof, breathable inserts keep moisture from getting in. Polyester tricot lining provides light insulation and helps wick moisture to keep hands warm and dry during spring ski tours and hikes in cool weather. Long gauntlets cover your wrists to keep cool air and snow out; gauntlet closures are easily adjusted with 1 hand. Goatskin palms provide a good grip of ski poles and other equipment. Removable wrist cords help you keep track of the gloves.

Great wet weather gloves!

I really like these gloves. Rain just runs right off and your hands stay nice and dry. Perfect for hiking in cool, wet weather. They have a thin fleece liner that is sewn in at the cuff. The fleece liner does tend to get a bit bunched up if remove them and then try to put them back on with wet hands. I only found this to be a minor annoyance. The liners do not appear to be sewn in at the finger tips but rather, attached with some sort of adhesive inside the glove. After some finger wiggling, the problem is solved. I especially like the lock and release cords on the gauntlets. They're clearly marked and easy to use with the gloves on (one side to tighten, the other to release).
