Good for sleeping
My legs tend to get a bit sweaty when I'm sleeping, and these take care of that problem. It seems like I'm also sleeping warmer, but haven't used them in anything lower than mid/upper-30s.They're super light and packable, which is a plus.

Warm & Light but Questional Durability
I ordered these online and after receiving them was shocked to see how thin they are. They really are a light weight garment but somehow manage to be warm. Granted, I used them for spring skiing but they are much warmer than you'd think by appearance alone. So the good: lightweight & warmThe bad: The fly is too high for "easy access"; it takes a bit of work to use the restroom. Second, I'm concerned about long term durability of these. I was taking off my ski pants and the edge of my suspenders caught on the fabric, leaving a tear similar to what you would see in pantyhose. I'm going to keep an eye on that hole next year and if it grows I plan to return these.Overall I still recommend, but not without reservation.

Outstanding Product
Been wearing these for many years. The product was slightly better a few years ago with multiple colors but remains outstanding. Best part is they provide great warmth when outside but are comfortable inside all day long. Nothing like silk. They wear well and even with constant use about five months a year and daily washing they hold up for two or three years.

Warm and light
Excellent feel and very functional in cold temps. Looked several places to find this.

Great Ultra Lite Long Underwear Pants
Perfect for ultra lite backpacking. Wear under pants if it gets cold and/or to sleep in to protect interior of your expensive sleeping bag. Silk is second only to wool for weight vs warmth ration at a very good price. Plus, REI back's up everything they sell!
