REI Sahara Convertible Pants - Boys'

The REI Sahara convertible pants feature zip-off legs and breathable, quick-drying fabric. Sun-protective fabric completes this camping-fun package. NoSitZip® legs feature vertical side zippers that extend from the cuffs to the horizontal zippers, so kids can zip the legs off and on without even lifting their feet. Durable nylon is breathable and quick drying for superb comfort and performance. Fabric has a UPF 30 rating for protection from damaging UV rays. Internal button elastic waistband offers a customized fit. Articulated knees allow comfortable range of motion with no tugging. REI Sahara convertible pants feature hand pockets, 2 rear pockets and 2 cargo pockets with rip-and-stick closures. Eyelets in hand pockets aid in water drainage for faster drying time.

I buy these every year

With a growing boy these pants are great! When all of my son's pants become too short, these pants get one more season as shorts. Also, during those strange weather days, these are our "go to pants". In the morning my son is warm enough but, our deal is that if it gets hotter, he can zip them off and be cool in shorts.
