Great hat
The hat is exactly as described, but I found it to be too "occlusive" for running in warm weather (this was my goal). Would be great for hiking or cooler weather jogging. Even though it's breathable, it is much thicker material than I was looking for (think medium weight Gortex). Not a fault of the hat... just not what I was looking for.

waterproof and comfortable.
Comfortable, lightweight, and adjustable for your head size. No worries in a light rain - its waterproof. And the longish brim helps my eyes avoid the sun on very bright days. A good purchase.

It is waterproof
Used this cap under the hood of my rain jacket to keep the rain off my glasses. Water beaded up and ran off the brim. Glasses stayed dry. Brim never was wet during an all day rainstorm. Good sun protection, too. Used this cap on the Camino de Santiago, last month.

Awesome if you need *waterproof* and breathable. eVent is the best.Cap style may not the best for continuous rain without a hood in which case
