I agree, they aren't as warm, but more importantly to me they aren't as durable. I used an older version for ice climbing and biking for 3 seasons until I lost them. Favorite pair I ever had -good durability, good wind resistance, good water shedding, low bulk. My hands don't get cold too easily so they were warm enough for me for most anything I wanted to do with them. I used the ones with the new fabric for one day of ice climbing in not near as rough conditions as the earlier pair had been through and they were SIGNIFICANTLY worn, not as good wind resistance, not as good water shedding, lower bulk though. Just wish the leather went over the tips. Man! why do companies ruin my favorite stuff by messing with them, now I have to go look for something better.

Okay, but not as warm as the old ones
I have a pair, they're ok, but not as warm as the old version. Also, they don't fit as well.Bring back the older, thicker version please!
