REI Midweight Polartec Power Dry Long Underwear Bottoms - Women's Petite

Whether you're hiking, skiing, snowshoeing or Nordic skiing, the REI Midweight Polartec® Power Dry® long underwear bottoms in petite sizes offer incredible value and excellent comfort. Polartec Power Dry utilizes different yarns on each side of the fabric to enhance comfort: interior yarn wicks moisture, and exterior yarn dries quickly. The combination of the 2 yarns helps keep you dry during highly aerobic activities because it moves moisture away from skin faster than single-component fabrics such as cotton. Flatseam construction is soft and non-chafing next to skin. Brushed elastic waistband ensures a comfortable fit outing after outing. Next-to-skin fit hugs the body, maintaining skin contact to boost fabric performance. Fabric offers UPF rating of 30 to protect against harmful UV light.

Best petite Long underwear bottom

REI is the only brand with decent petite sizing. Perfect length, nice material. I wore it 3-4 days a week for the whole winter as leggings with skirts & boots and there is little wear on the garment. The waist was comfy despite not having fabric. May be the previous reviewer needs a size bigger.

Great value for price

This is a great base layer for petites. The fabric feels a bit scratchy but softens with laundering. The elastic band iat the top is not covered with fabric and the sharp edges dig in. The fit is baggy in the thighs but this is a good thing if you have big things. The fabric is thin enough that bulk is not an issue. Overall, this is a good baselayer for the price and among the few options available for petites.
