This street-smart jacket is perfect for travels where you need wet-weather protection. The REI Madrona jacket is fully seam sealed and provides wind protection up to 60 mph. Waterproof and breathable, the Madrona jacket offers 2-layer protection from the elements; brushed tricot/taffeta lining is soft and warm and slides easily over clothing. Weather-ready protection includes a zip-off hood, interior and exterior stormflaps over the front zipper, and adjustable rip-and-stick cuffs. 2 zippered handwarmer pockets; interior pockets include a zip pocket with a headphone port and an open mesh pocket sized to hold a map or tickets. Classic fit provides comfort and ease.

LOVE - Best Purchase Ever

I get so many compliments on this jacket; everyone loves the subtle streamlined military look. I did buy this a size smaller than could have only because i wanted it to fit more snuggly, but it does fit really snug in the chest area. I've had it for about a year now and it is my go-to jacket for Fall and Spring. Right after purchasing this jacket my husband and I spent a week in CO hiking and exploring. This jacket was with me the entire time. One of the things we did was bike down Pikes Peak. At the top of the mountain everyone in the group was piling on layers. I had on a thermal shirt and this jacket; while everyone else was catching the wind in the 30 degrees, I was snug as a bug and didn't feel any wind or the rain that met us when we got down to the bottom. Go buy it.
