Description

REI Connect Tech Garage

The REI Connect Tech Garage is much more than a simple vestibule. This pole-supported, dual-door/dual-awning garage provides sun and weather protection, extends storage and expands entry/exit points. REI Connect Tech Garage is compatible with 2011 Hobitat 4, 6 and Kingdom 8 tents and 2012 Kingdom 4, 6 and 8 tents (all sold separately) which feature a Connect Tech zipper. Adds 56.1 sq. ft. of vestibule space; dimensions are 100 x 80 in. Provides convenient, weatherproof storage and entry and exit. Doors can be poled out (tent poles and trekking poles sold separately) to create awnings. Doors can also be rolled all the way up, half way up or diagonally half way up and secured. Made from durable, waterproof polyester which sags less than nylon during weather fluctuations. Connect Tech Garage attaches securely to tent via Connect Tech zipper. Includes storage/carry sack and 4 stakes.

Great Accessory

Great accessory for the Hobitat tents. It's so nice to be able to take your boots off outside and not dirty your tent. Awesome for keeping some of your camping stuff "put away" while you're out on a hike.Really easy to put up and attach to the tent. A keeper!

Sells the tent

This accessory really sells the tent in my opinion (Hobitat 4). It adds a large amount of storage/sitting/entry space to the tent. We used it on a crummy weekend to play cards with 4 adults inside. It is really nice to be able to get in and out of the tent without letting the bad weather into the tent. Shed your wet clothes, put on boots, cook a meal. It should be nice in good weather as well as a shady spot with awnings up to let the breeze through.If you buy a tent that can use this garage you would be remiss to not buy this addition.
