REI Heavyweight Polartec Power Dry Long Underwear Bottoms - Women's Petite

Whether hiking, skiing, snowshoeing, mountaineering or Nordic skiing, the REI Heavyweight Polartec® Power Dry® long underwear bottoms in petite sizes offer excellent comfort and value. Polartec Power Dry utilizes 2 different yarns on either side of the fabric to enhance comfort: interior yarn wicks moisture, and exterior yarn dries quickly. Combination of the 2 yarns helps keep you dry during highly aerobic activities because it moves moisture away from skin and dries more quickly single-component fabrics. Women-specific fabric is slightly heavier relative to men's fabrics and offers additional insulation. Smooth surface of outer fabric makes it easy to put on additional layers. Flatseam construction is soft and non-chafing next to skin. Brushed elastic waistband ensures a comfortable fit outing after outing. Next-to-skin fit hugs the body, maintaining skin contact to boost fabric performance. Fabric offers UPF rating of 50+ to protect against harmful UV light.

Keep me warm all winter

These underwear bottoms are comfortable and warm. They are perfect under jeans and keep me very warm in cold weather (I live in Seattle so I experience not only the cold temperatures, but also the dampness). One of the best aspects of these bottoms is that they keep me warm outside but I do not have to take them off once I get out of the cold. So far I have not found any cons to these bottoms in the year that I have owned them.
