Comfy and functional
Wore for 3 days on Mt. Rainier. Easy to move in, great base layer, easily fit over plastic boots. Layered underneath and over top and it worked perfectly. Could use more pockets, but not that big of a deal.

Great pants - terrible rear pockets!
The rear pockets have a very small velcro closure which not only does not hold together, but the pockets actually poof open and give the appearance of 2 ugl

I am so disappointed
I have 3 pair of Endeavor pants from 2012. They are wonderful. I was so happy to see that REI was again offering these pants--but they are NOT the same pant. The design is different, and the fit is way off. The 16 is now a 14. The nifty thigh pocket that opened on the front, perfect for bus money, driver's license, extra camera battery, etc., is now a strange shallow lengthwise pocket that opens toward the back, and things will fall out of it before you can close it, or if you open it to get something out--but it i

Great pants! Terrible pockets!!
These pants are fantastic with the exception of their back pockets - they fit great, are long enough, allow for full range of movement, dry quickly, but... the back pockets leave a lot to be desired. The first time you move the Velcro pops open. Eventually the pocket innards work themselves out and you end up with floppy ear butt. Aside from the pockets, which can be fixed by installing a larger piece of Velcro, they are great pants. I will buy them again, but likely wait until they go on sale.[ReviewD

slimmer than last year
I bought these last year and they fit great. I didn't stretch mine out. I only used them a few times because I was very busy trying to graduate college. So, I barely wore them and washed as recommended. Last year's had enough room in the thigh to step high. I tried the new ones on today in the store, and they are much slimmer in the thigh. The waist fit the same. I would recommend that REI make the thigh roomier so that we have good range of motion for hiking uphill.

Great pants, bad pockets
I really loved these pants - the first pair I got was a size 6, and I used it to go hiking in the rain and snow. They kept me dry and surprisingly warm, but they were a bit short from waist to crotch so I switched to a size 8. These fit better and held up on hot urban hike and were great for walking through weeds. However, the back pockets won't stay fastened, and the hook part of the velcro is exposed whenever I move, catching on to everything - my backpack, my office chair, my base layers. It's really annoying and bec

Great pants
Great pants. Comfortable, love the inside string adjustment-so much better than a belt. Other reviews mentioned the rear pockets come open so I sewed in a larger velcro which seemed to do keep them closed. More pockets would be helpful, I like a lot of them.

Great hiking pants
I bought these pants specifically for hiking during the shoulder season where the temperatures and conditions can vary dramatically in a day. The pan
